Grace Potter - "The Daylight Sessions"

For Grace’s 2019 record Daylight, I directed a series of 3 color-themed music videos. The song “Back to Me” features the incredible harmonic-duo Lucius. Filmed on Anamorphic lenses and shot at the YouTube Space Los Angeles.

Steve Martin - "The Long Awaited Album"

For Steve’s 2017 record, I directed, edited, and produced a series of music videos. Filmed at Mack Sennett, a 102 year-old studio in Silver Lake, and also at San Diego State University, this was a true highlight. Not to mention, some of the songs we filmed also appeared in Steve Martin & Martin Short’s EMMY-nominated Netflix special, An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life.

Andrew Bird - The Barefoot Sessions

Filmed on a rainy day in the historic Barefoot Recording studio, we filmed Andrew and his wonderful band powering through songs from his GRAMMY-nominated record My Finest Work Yet. Being in the room during this session was like speeding 300mph on a jet ski. Their energy was wild and each song just kept picking up momentum, building raw power with beauty.

A day after Andrew received a GRAMMY-nomination for his record My Finest Work yet, I created this visualizer to showcase Andrew’s striking, poetic song. Even though it sounds romantic, the lyrics center on fossil fuels and fracking, and how we damage our environment. To visually convey this pollution, I created an inverted, negative color space (3:22) over Bird walking through canyons in Utah and rivers in LA
